MEDICAL LASERS |
COMING SOON | |
1. What is low-level laser therapy? |
Low-level laser therapy works by stimulating cellular growth and rejuvenation to the applied area. Amplified and synchronized light (laser beam) at a certain wavelength (600-1000nm) triggers a cellular and biochemical process, including ATP production, collagen production and increased blood flow to the affected area. The penetration of living tissue has been proven to be most effective at this 600-1000 nanometer range (the higher the wavelength of a laser, the deeper the penetration into the tissue). Products such as our SoftLaser operate at wavelengths of 635-675 nanometers, making it an excellent laser for superficial stimulation (skin) and regeneration without effecting deeper tissue. |
 |
2. Is low-level laser therapy safe? |
YES. Low-level laser’s are absolutely safe for everyone.* They produce no side-effects, pain or heat and have been used commonly at elite medical establishments for years now. |
 |
1. What is the SoftLaser? |
The Beurer SoftLaser VSL40and Etrans SoftLaser are revolutionary new devices for skin care and anti-aging. These low-level lasers are one of the first personal-use lasers available and are safe, non-invasive and extremely effective. Unlike eye surgery lasers or surgical lasers, SoftLaser causes no pain, heat or side effects and can be used by anyone. |
 |
2. What is the difference between the Beurer SoftLaser VSL40 and the Starlite Laser? |
The Beurer SoftLaser VSL40 operates one 635-670nm low-level laser diode, has a power output of 5 mW, is operated by 2 AAA batteries, and comes in a package that includes 2 AAA rechargeable batteries, recharger, carrying case, DVD, goggles and instructional manual. Other benefits include a stainless steel tip and a 1 year warranty.
The Starlite operates one 655nm low-level laser diode as well as one 940nm infrared pulsed LED, has a power output of 5mW, is operated by 3 AAA batteries, and comes in a package that includes 3 AAA batteries, plastic travel case and instructional manual. Other benefits include an optical lense for increased laser intensity, safety interlock that only turns the laser on within close proximity to skin, LED power indicator that turns red when batteries need to be replaced, a flat base that allows the unit to stand up, a stainless steel tip, and a 2 year warranty. |

3. How do the SoftLasers™ work? |
The SoftLasers™ utilize the power of light to heal. By exciting atoms from their ground state, and collecting these excited atoms, the SoftLaser™ device creates a situation in which there are more excited atoms than grounded atoms. When the atoms are released from the device, it releases energy in the form of photons (light energy). The photons emitted have a very specific wavelength (635-675 nm - red). This wavelength is what separates medical lasers from laser pointers and industrial lasers. The wavelength the SoftLasers™ operate at is particular to certain biochemical and cellular processes in humans that include increased circulation, ATP and collagen production, and stimulation of the mitochondria (cellular healing). This wavelength is also very specific in that it is very effective for superficial use (skin) without penetrating to deeper tissue and has been shown to be best for wound healing and skin conditions. |
 |
5. Who is the SoftLaser for? |
ABSOLUTELY ANYONE. The SoftLaser works on people of all ages and races. As Dr. Thomas K. Szulc, a long time laser therapist writes, “Whether you’re a teenager battling acne or a grandmother looking to revitalize her skin and appearance, SoftLaser can help”. |

 |
7. How do I use a SoftLaser? |
Using the SoftLaser is simple. SoftLaser should be used on clean skin. Touch or gently glide the surgical steel metal tip gently on your skin. Slide the unit in a soft circular or zigzag motion all around the face or problematic skin area for a short period at each problem site (more direct directions for specific conditions are given in the handbook included with the laser). Total treatment of areas should be between 3-6 minutes (Although some cases may require up to 15 minutes). |
 |
8. What are the benefits? |
EFFECTIVENESS – The SoftLaser Works. Several studies and trials, medical usage and testimonials from low-level laser users have verified the effectiveness of the SoftLaser. Read a testimonial published in FITNESS magazine.
SAFETY – Unlike surgery or cosmetic products loaded with petro-chemicals and toxins, the SoftLaser is completely safe for anyone to use.
COMFORT – The compact and lightweight SoftLaser can be used anywhere. Whether it’s in the privacy of your home (in bed before going to sleep) or on vacation (travel case included), the SoftLaser provides a comfortable solution for your skin and anti-aging issues.
VALUE – Surgery is pricey and cosmetic products can cost thousands of dollars overtime, but the SoftLaser is a one time affordable solution. Use the SoftLaser for years to come and save thousands |
 |
10. How long will it take to see results? |
Although each case is different, most people see results in 3-4 weeks. Some cases such as Suzanne Noli’s see results within the first week. The effects of the SoftLaser™ are accumulative, meaning that the more often and consistent you are with treatments, the better the results. |
 |
12. Can the SoftLaser harm my eyes? |
While the SoftLaser should not be pointed directly into the eye, no harm will be done if accidentally pointed at the eye. Do not stare at the laser. |
 |
14. Why isn’t the SoftLaser FDA approved? |
Gaining FDA approval takes numerous studies, millions of dollars and much patience. Although clinical studies have proven the efficacy and safety of low-level lasers, it is still a relatively new idea and product in the United States. Many users and advocates are now pushing for FDA approval and it is just a matter of time. |
 |
15. What is your return policy for the SoftLaser? |
Due to hygiene reasons, the Beurer SoftLaser and Etrans are not returnable. We have 100% confidence in our SoftLasers. We have heard back from many satisfied customers who can’t stop raving about how great and effective their SoftLasers are. As long as you stick with it and keep using the laser for an extended period of time there is no reason why you shouldn’t see stellar results. PLEASE NOTE: If you receive your SoftLaser damaged or broken in any way, we will be more than happy to send you an exchange/replacement when you return your original one to us unused. |

2. Is the Laser Comb Safe? |
YES. The HairMax LaserComb is completely safe and complies with International laser product safety standards.
The type of low-level laser therapy provided by the HairMax LaserComb has been used internationally in salons and hair clinics for many years to address a broad range of hair case applications. The HairMax LaserComb provides a power level of light energy that is safe, harmless and effective. There are absolutely no side effects, adverse reactions or discomfort caused by the use of the LaserComb. |
 |
4. How do I use the LaserComb? |
The LaserComb has been designed with both comfort and convenience in mind. To turn on the LaserComb press the “power” button and then the “laser” button on the front of the unit. Next, place the LaserComb flat on your head using the two rows of teeth. Rather than constantly moving the LaserComb through your hair (as you would with a regular brush or comb), you will use what we like to call the “glide” method by placing the LaserComb on a specific spot on your head and gently gliding it back a ½ inch each time the audible four-second beep occurs. Move from the front of your hairline to the back of your head, and then repeat the process moving in the opposite direction. The “glide” method is the best way to ensure that the LaserComb will be as effective as possible for you.
In addition to being very easy to operate, the LaserComb is also a relaxing and enjoyable product to use. There are no sprays, topical ointments, or powders to worry about, and it can be used in the comfort of your own home at your own convenience.
|
 |
5. How often do I need to use the LaserComb? |
We recommend that the LaserComb be used 3 times per week, 10-15 minutes per treatment for optimal results. We have found that three times a week seems to be the optimal amount of usage. Using the LaserComb more than three times a week has not been shown to accelerate the benefits. |
 |
6. How long will I need to continue treatment with the LaserComb? |
Hair care treatment, as with the treatment of any condition, is an ongoing process. For this reason, it is imperative that, to keep seeing positive benefits from the LaserComb, you use it as indicated on a consistent basis. You can miss a day here and there and be alright, but all in all, if you do not use the product as recommended, there is a strong possibility that you will not see desirable results or you will regress to where you were prior to using the LaserComb. |
 |
7. When can I expect to start seeing results from the LaserComb? |
User experience will vary. In general, there are three categories of user experience: 45% of users will see positive results after 8 weeks of treatment. Another 45% will see benefits from weeks 10-16. The last 10% of users will begin to see subtle improvements (if any) after 16 weeks. |
 |
10. Does the HairMax LaserComb work for everyone? |
Just as fresh air and exercise is "good" for improving the body's appearance, laser light energy is "good" for improving the hair. Both men & women (40% of users are women who have witness great results) can benefit from the laser light energy provided by the HairMax LaserComb. Studies have shown that low-level laser therapy (LLLT) is effective in people ages 18 and older. For people under the age of 18, we recommend you consult your physician prior to using the LaserComb. |
 |
11. Can I use the LaserComb if I have already had transplant surgery? |
YES. This practice is encouraged by an increasing amount of hair transplant surgeons worldwide. The LaserComb has been shown to increase the recovery time in hair transplant patients, and also to increase the look of the transplanted hairs in a positive manner (making them appear thicker, fuller, and healthier). The teeth of the LaserComb are even removable making immediate use after surgery possible. |
 |
12. Does your hair need to be clean to use the LaserComb? |
We do recommend that you use the LaserComb on a clean scalp so that the laser can effectively improve the appearance of your hair without being hindered by oils, dandruff, etc. The reason for this is to prevent product buildup from blocking the laser light. However, you can also address this by cleaning your LaserComb with a damp cloth before and after each use. |
 |
16. What is your return policy for the HairMax LaserComb? |
Both HairMax LaserCombs (Premium and SE) can be returned within 30 days less an 18% restocking fee of the purchase price. If the product is returned within 5 Months (20 Weeks), there will be a partial refund of 60% of the purchase price. This money back guarantee is effective from the date of order. You will be required to pay for the return shipping costs and the applicable restocking fee (stated above). Please note that only orders placed directly through Innovative Medicine are eligible for the money back guarantee. |
